How to Change Your Credit Card in Paypal Without Accidentally Cancelling Your Hosting Subscription - Webmasters Support for Cheap Web Hosting
To change a subscription funding source you must find the transaction
for the original subscription creation in your account history. If you
are changing your funding source to a new credit card or bank account,
please add the credit card or bank account first by going to your
Profile. You can then follow the steps below to change the subscription
funding source.
1.Go to the PayPal website and log in to your account.
2.Click "History" at the top of the page.
3.Put your mouse over the "more filters" link a little further down the page which is left from the center horizontally. From the long drop down menu that appears when you put your mouse over the "more filters" link, put your mouse over the sub menu called "Subscriptions and agreements" and then click the sub menu "Subscriptions" that appears.
4.Check the "From" box and change date back 2 years or more, as
needed.
5.Click "Search."
6.Click "Details" in the Details column of your Subscription
Creation.
7.Select the funding source you wish to use for future subscription
payments and click "Update Information."

Warning: If you try to update your credit card information in a way other than following the above directions, PayPal will cancel your subscription. You will also most likely lose the remaining time on that subscription and you will not be able to get a refund. Note: This is only because of how the PayPal system works, not because we want people to lose their hard earned money.
